Sharla Manglitz
Ms. Manglitz focuses her practice on maritime and business matters. As a fourth generation maritime executive, she has extensive experience advising maritime companies in general operations, commercial transactions, insurance matters, crew matters, and vessel regulatory and compliance matters. Previously, Ms. Manglitz served as general counsel and vice president of operations for Lake Michigan Carferry Service and Pere Marquette Shipping. Prior to that, Ms. Manglitz was in private practice with a large regional south Florida firm, and worked on commercial litigation and maritime matters. Ms. Manglitz earned her undergraduate degree from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, and her Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan.
